There are an estimated 57.8 million people who have unaddressed mental health needs.

(NIMH, 2021)

The need for mental health care is growing...but resources are not.

The Christian Church can help bridge the gap...

Our free training can equip lay counselors to address these growing needs.

Mental Health and the Church

The Church Cares mental health mission

Through a grant from the National Christian Foundation, Charis Institute, Regent University, and 7 Cups of Tea, The Church Cares has been launched.

The goal is to empower churches to train lay helpers to address their communities' emotional, relational, and behavioral distress issues with minimal financial cost.
